Climate change, sustainability, and environmental equity are critical factors driving much of what a prosperous and healthy global future will look like.

One of the primary research pillars that IU Indianapolis is developing revolves around these topics, and we are recruiting a broader range researchers and scholars who center some of these issues in their research. This Consortia will help to inform a formal proposal to stand up the Sustaining Earth Institute, and will help develop the initial concepts that will be its research focus.

To that end, we are recruiting a set of interested and active researchers from engaged schools in Indianapolis to become Consortia members. Membership will entail:

• Engaging in several working research catalyst meetings to help frame research foci.
• Participating in various events (invited speakers, works in progress, and others)

These meetings and events will occur in 2024.
